Makeathon Where great ideas become products The Makeathon during GENEfest is the opportunity to pitch a new solution to existing problems in ecommerce. Teams split to productise, strategise and ideate – whatever those things mean. What matters is that by the end of it we have the foundations of a great product with a strong business case. The winning project becomes a GENE Brainwave and continues the arduous journey to make an idea into a reality. GENE Brainwaves Fun times All work and no play… Work is fun (at least ours). But so is doing crafts, dressing up, playing video games, listening to odd talks, camping inside an office and (improvised) swimming in the sea at night. So we did those too. And some others.
